Girl Scouts Celebrate New Georgia Specialty License Plate

A world-famous organization founded in Savannah is celebrating a new way for Peach State drivers to show their support.
Girl Scouts wrapped up a statewide road trip to promote the new Georgia Girl Scout specialty license plate in the Hostess City Wednesday afternoon. The new plate design has a white background with the iconic trefoil to represent the three parts of the Girl Scout Promise.
Girl Scouts from across Georgia gathered at the Girl Scouts' first headquarters on Drayton Street, where the movement was founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912.
