Athens area entrepreneurs, startups, and those who support them, are invited to join Athens Georgia Startup Week from Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1, powered by organizers HW Creative, Slingshot, Four Athens, Innovation Gateway, Thinc @ UGA, The UGA Entrepreneurship Program, and more. This first-time event was created to inspire and strengthen the local entrepreneurial community through a week-long series of free networking and education sessions on topics such as finding funding, linking local resources, marketing and management for startups and small business, and celebrating Classic City culture. Events also include opportunities to connect directly with business mentors, funders, service providers, and area talent.
