“We are privileged to facilitate the increased reach of these incredibly impactful breast health organizations,” said Kimberly Goff, Executive Director of It’s The Journey. “Their efforts extend across the entire state, reaching over 16,000 Georgians in need of breast health services in nearly 90 counties. We are proud that our grants remain focused on local needs and impact the lives of Georgians, providing crucial access to services ranging from clinical breast exams, screening mammograms, diagnostics, genetic counseling and testing, to direct financial assistance”

“Breast health, especially among at risk women, continues to be a top concern,” said Tammy Gilland, Vice President of Athens Regional Foundation. “Funding through It’s the Journey will make possible a range of breast health services at Athens Regional Health System and our community partners. From clinical breast exams to screening mammography to cancer support services, women in the Athens area will receive life-saving care through this program.”
