One of the Athens area’s favorite holiday shopping traditions returns this November as Athens Academy hosts its 12th annual Holiday Market, featuring more than 85 vendors from across the Southeast.

The 2026 Athens Academy Holiday Market will kick off with a special Opening Night event on Wednesday, November 18, from 4:00–7:00 p.m., followed by the full market on Thursday, November 19, from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Both events will take place in the Sinkwich Spartan Center on the Athens Academy campus at 1281 Spartan Lane in Athens.

Admission to the Opening Night event is $5/person, with children under the age of 18 admitted free.

There is no admission fee for Thursday’s market.

Shoppers will find a wide variety of unique gifts and specialty items from talented artisans and vendors throughout the region, including handcrafted jewelry, pottery, original artwork, floral arrangements, soaps, artisanal foods, home décor, gifts, and more. The Opening Night event will also feature a raffle of items donated by participating vendors.

Now in its 12th year, the Holiday Market has become a popular destination for shoppers looking to get an early start on their holiday lists while supporting artists, makers, and small businesses from Athens and throughout the Southeast.

Special thanks to the 2026 Holiday Market vendors: Water’s Edge Woods; Fortson, Bentley & Griffin, PA; Blount Heating and Cooling; Austin Sumner Properties; Café Marbella; Catherine Denham Travel; Monkee’s of Athens; Houseman Services; Classic City Orthodontics; and Larry Baumwald Insurance Agency, Inc.
