ABA’s Community Bankers Council Selects Oconee State Bank's Neil Stevens as Vice Chair

Oconee Financial Corporation (OTCQX: OSBK), holding company for Oconee State Bank, shared The American Bankers Association's Community Bankers Council (ABA CBC) has selected Oconee State Bank President and CEO Neil Stevens to serve as Vice Chair of the Council, a national leadership group representing the interests and perspectives of community banks across the country. As Vice Chair, Stevens will help lead the Council's work during the coming year and will assume the role of Chair in 2028.

At a time when community banks play a critical role in supporting local economies, the ABA Community Bankers Council serves as a vital forum for collaboration, advocacy, and leadership.

Through the Council's work, community bankers from across the country help shape policies and priorities that strengthen the ability of local institutions to serve businesses, families, and communities. This collective leadership helps ensure the voice of community banking remains strong in conversations that impact local economies nationwide.
