Georgia Officials Warn of Fake Vendor Market Advertised on Facebook

The Georgia Department of Agriculture is warning the public about a fake event being promoted on Facebook for this weekend.
The fraudulent event is advertised as the “2026 GATE Atlanta Vendor & Artisan Market,” scheduled for Aug. 21-23 at the Atlanta State Farmers’ Market in Forest Park.
Matthew Agvent with the Georgia Department of Agriculture says the event does not exist.
