The Full-Time MBA program at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business received its highest ranking ever from U.S. News & World Report, in the college guide’s 2026 survey of the Best Graduate Schools.

The Georgia MBA program rose four spots to No. 25 in the nation. The full-time program topped its previous best ranking from U.S. News when it was ranked 27th in 2024. Among public business schools, the Georgia MBA is ranked 10th — up one spot from a year ago.

This past February, the Financial Times rated Georgia’s Full-Time MBA the No. 1 value for the money worldwide for the third consecutive year. And the latest survey from Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the Full-Time MBA No. 23 in the U.S. and No. 7 among public business schools — both were Terry’s highest rankings by Businessweek.

“It’s very gratifying to see the Georgia MBA program achieve these heights,” said Jason Matthews, director of Terry’s Full-Time MBA and MSBA programs. “We’re attracting incredibly talented and capable students into the program, and through the combination of skillful instruction, applied learning and customized career support our graduates are securing the kind of career opportunities they hoped for or dreamed of when they began considering graduate education.”

The Professional MBA program, based at the Terry Executive Education Center in Atlanta, maintained its top 20 public ranking, landing at No. 19 among public business schools in the U.S. News part-time MBA ranking

New this year, Terry’s Executive MBA program in Atlanta also received a top national ranking. U.S. News’ EMBA survey ranked Terry 21st among public EMBA programs.

“The Terry College of Business offers MBA formats that are best suited to every student interest or need, whether it’s in person full-time, hybrid part-time, executive or fully online,” said Dean Santanu Chatterjee. “The return on investment for Georgia MBA graduates has never been stronger, and we are pleased to have the program’s outstanding performance, led by our faculty and staff, recognized by U.S. News and many others.”

Survey data from the Class of 2025 reported that more than 93 percent of Terry’s Full-Time MBA students accepted job offers consistent with their career aspirations within three months of graduation. That tied for the highest employment rate reported by any business school ranked in the top 50.

U.S. News’ full-time MBA ranking is based on surveys of 333 MBA programs accredited by AACSB International. The methodology includes attainment success (50%), assessment of quality (25%) and student selectivity (25%).

The part-time MBA ranking methodology is based on six factors: peer assessment (50%), standardized test scores (10 percent), percentage of MBA enrollment in the part-time program (12.5 percent), total number of part-time students (12.5%), undergraduate grade point average (10 percent) and number of years of work experience (5 percent).

The executive MBA ranking is determined by a reputational survey of business school deans and MBA program directors, who are asked to nominate up to 15 top-rated EMBA programs.

U.S. News also ranked 13 graduate business specialties based on their reputation among accredited business schools. Seven areas of MBA specialization in Terry’s full-time program are ranked among the top 30 public business schools, led by Terry’s real estate concentration, which is ranked in the No. 3 public program and top 10 overall. Terry’s other MBA concentrations ranked among the top 30 public programs are: finance, marketing, management, supply chain management, business analytics, and operations.

All rankings appear in the 2026 edition of U.S. News’ Best Graduate Schools, which was published April 7.
