Candidates Address a Full House at WUGA's Mayoral Debate

Community members packed into Appleton Auditorium at the Athens Regional Library for WUGA’s Mayoral Debate on Monday night.
More than 150 people, many standing along the walls, attended the debate. Stige Burden was among those there to hear the candidates’ stances on issues including affordable housing, data centers, and development.
“But outside of that, I thought it flowed," according to Burden. "I was glad this was my first one that I attended. So I got a lot of valuable information and insight into the candidates’ platforms.”
