The 2026 State of the Community Address video from Athens-Clarke County Mayor Kelly Girtz is now available online, on the ACCGov channel on Roku/Apple TV/Fire TV devices, and on ACTV. The 23-minute video provides an overview of some ACCGov and community activities, accomplishments, and responses during 2025, as well as a look ahead to future initiatives. 

The 2026 State of the Community Address video was recorded at the ACCGov Leisure Services Department’s Lay Park Resource Center, which was established with SPLOST 2000 funds and is staffed by the Athens-Clarke County Library.
