Mayor and Commission Vote on Data Center Moratorium Extension

On March 3rd, the mayor and commission will vote whether or not to extend the current moratorium on the establishment of new data centers in Athens-Clarke County.
During last month's Agenda Setting meeting, several community members came out to urge the commission for another pause before an official vote on the city’s data center policies.
