Bulldogs Contribute Over 13,000 Gifts in 24 Hours

The fifth annual Dawg Day of Giving once again demonstrated the strength and generosity of the Bulldog Nation, bringing in more than 13,000 gifts to support University of Georgia students and programs. This year’s total set a new single‑day giving record for the university.
The 24‑hour campaign on March 26 aimed for 12,000 gifts and surpassed that goal around 10:30 p.m. EDT, continuing the event’s streak of record‑breaking participation.
In total, the 13,094 gifts contributed a combined $8.5 million directed to areas across UGA. Every one of the university’s 20 schools and colleges — along with numerous departments,
“Each year, Dawg Day of Giving highlights what the UGA community can accomplish when we unite behind a common goal,” said President Jere W. Morehead. “I am incredibly grateful to each and every person who contributed to these record-setting efforts, and I look forward to seeing the countless ways your generosity will positively impact our campus for generations to come.”
