During Athens-Clarke County’s Mayor and Commission meeting, scheduled February 17, the commission will discuss the recapture and relocation of $6.2 million distributed through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
ARPA funds were distributed across America in 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Athens-Clarke County was granted over $57 million dollars during that same year.
