Athens Academy Drama Department Presents Annie, Jr.

Athens Academy’s Middle School Drama Department is pleased to present Annie, Jr., from February 6–8, 2026, in the Bertelsmann Presentation Hall on the Athens Academy campus.
Performances will be held on Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7, at 7:30 p.m. A matinee performance at 2:30 p.m. will be held on Sunday, February 8.
Tickets are $2 for students and seniors and $5 for adults. Tickets will be available via GoFan or for sale at the door.
Annie, Jr. is the middle school version of the beloved Tony Award–winning musical that follows the indomitable spirit of a young orphan whose optimism and courage transform the lives of those around her. Set during the Great Depression, the show features unforgettable songs, heart, humor, and a timeless message of hope.
The cast and crew are composed of Athens Academy seventh and eighth grade students, with direction from Fine Arts Director Katie Townsend. Lorraine Thompson serves as assistant director, and Sarah Parido is music director for the show.
