After Outcry, Plans for President’s House Hotel Held Back for More Revisions

The group behind the controversial redevelopment of the UGA President’s House is calling for the project to be tabled.

The Mayor and Commission of Athens-Clarke County will not consider plans this month to redevelop the former University of Georgia President’s House into a hotel. District 2 Commissioner Melissa Link, whose district covers the historic manor, says that the developer plans to address concerns raised by the Planning Commission and community members.
