areas: scholarship, leadership, character, and service. To qualify for membership, a student must
be a junior and have attained a weighted GPA of 3.75, or a senior with a weighted GPA of 3.70. The
student must have demonstrated a capability for leadership in school and community activities
and must have fulfilled any elected or appointed office with responsibility. The student’s character
must be marked by honesty, responsibility, fairness, courtesy, tolerance, and cooperation.
Concern for others is demonstrated by the student’s willingness to serve the school and the
community by exemplifying positive qualities and attitudes.
Congratulations to these 61 new NHS members, and thank you to Ms. Corbin for sharing
her valuable insight and wisdom with our Upper School students!
