The University of Georgia welcomed 675 donors and guests at the annual Presidents Club Reception on Oct. 17 in the Tate Student Center Grand Hall for an evening celebration of their commitment to the university and its students.

“It is truly wonderful to see the remarkable generosity of our Presidents Club donors in support of our great institution,” said UGA President Jere W. Morehead. “Their unwavering loyalty and dedicated support continue to push the University of Georgia to new heights of excellence.”

The Presidents Club, whose members give $1,500 or more to UGA within a single fiscal year, is made up of alumni and friends of the university who play a vital role in the university’s present and future. In the 2025 fiscal year alone, more than 9,600 Presidents Club donors contributed over $160 million to UGA. These donors have advanced a wide array of initiatives — from scholarships and facilities projects to endowed professorships and community outreach programs — helping UGA and its students thrive today and for generations to come.

“Our donors have made truly meaningful contributions that uplift our students, empower our faculty and strengthen the UGA community,” said Jill S. Walton, vice president for development and alumni relations. “Their generosity is inspiring and has a powerful impact. We are deeply thankful for their continued support.”

Members of the Presidents Club come from 51 states and territories across the U.S. and played a key role in helping the university raise a record-breaking $300.4 million in FY25.
