The North Oconee and Oconee County graduations will take place inside the respective high school stadiums in May of 2026.

North Oconee will hold its commencement exercises on Friday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m. at Titan Stadium. The weather make-up date will be Saturday, May 23, at 10 a.m.

“We are counting down the days until we get to celebrate the Class of 2026,” North Oconee Principal Keith Carter said. “Titan Stadium is a place where so many memories have been made, and we want to add a special commencement to that list. We are committed to providing an event that is a reflection of past and future achievements and the special place these students hold in the North Oconee family.”

The Oconee County graduation is slated for Saturday, May 23, at 7:30 p.m. at Warrior Stadium. The weather make-up date will be Sunday, May 24, at 7:30 p.m.

“Warrior Stadium has been the backdrop for so many defining moments for these seniors, and we are looking forward to hosting a commencement that honors their journey,” Oconee County Principal Matt Stephens said. “This will be an opportunity to celebrate their achievements as well as the special, lasting bond they have. We can't wait to share this moment with our graduates and their families.”

Additional details about the commencement exercises will be shared as the events draw closer.

“Graduation represents a significant milestone for our students and their families, and celebrating on our home campuses makes it even more meaningful,” Superintendent Melissa Butler said. “Our goal is to provide each graduate with a personal and memorable experience in the place where so much of their growth and success occurred. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments on our high school fields, surrounded by the community that has supported them every step of the way.”
