Athens Film Festival Features Homegrown Films, Nurtures Creative Community

The 2nd annual Athens Film Festival ended Sunday. Over the weekend, filmmakers and film enthusiasts came to Athens' local theatres to enjoy screenings of indie projects, including short films and animations.
Festival Producer, Allison Griffin, said, "We actually have two full length features in this year’s film festival that were shot in Athens," speaking about Withdrawal, directed by Athens-native Aaron Strand and American Deadbolt, directed by Bryan Redding.
