Excitement Awaits This Summer at Adventure Camp 2025 An Unforgettable Outdoor Experience for Young Explorers

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Tuesday, June 10th, 2025

This summer, the Nature and Adventure Center invites kids ages 6 to 11 to unplug, explore, and embrace the outdoors at Adventure Camp 2025 — a week-long, hands-on experience designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young campers.

Running from now through the week of July 28, Adventure Camp combines safe, age-appropriate outdoor activities with engaging environmental education, all set in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Nature and Adventure Center. Whether they’re swimming, spotting wildlife, playing games, or making crafts, campers will enjoy an unforgettable mix of adventure and learning.

“Our goal is to create a joyful, supportive space where kids can be themselves, try new things, and grow through play and exploration,” said Morgan Snyder, Camp Director. “Adventure Camp is where memories are made, friendships are formed, and kids fall in love with the outdoors.”

Highlights of the camp include:

  • Nature hikes and swimming

  • Team games, crafts, and daily nature challenges

  • BB and archery shooting sports

  • Themed weeks including Camp Pawesome, Around the World, Time Travel, and more.

Led by trained counselors, the camp maintains a low staff-to-camper ratio to ensure individual attention and a safe, nurturing environment for all participants.

Registration is now open at gacacouncil.org/adventurecamp, with sessions available throughout the summer. Spots are limited.
