ACCGov Public Utilities Department Seeks Input on 2025 Service Delivery Plan
Monday, June 16th, 2025
The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government (ACCGov) Public Utilities Department (PUD) will host five open houses and an online survey through August 31 to gather feedback on the 2025 Service Delivery Plan, which includes 50 proposed capital improvement projects.
The Service Delivery Plan evaluates the water and sewer needs over 20 years and is updated every five years. Originally adopted in 1995, the Service Delivery Plan consists of three main elements: infrastructure, capital improvements, and financial.
The 2025 Service Delivery Plan projects have been identified to meet community needs for water and wastewater services. These projects have been categorized, evaluated, and prioritized based on the goals, values, and objectives approved by the Mayor and Commission.
Public open houses are scheduled for the following dates and times. Residents can drop in anytime during the open houses to learn more about the plan, ask questions, and provide feedback about the projects.
