Organizers expect some 250 cyclists to ride routes of 14 to 82 miles. The event also features the Tracks to Trail Firefly Fest from 10 am until 4 pm. Mark Ralston is a past president of Firefly Trail incorporated. He says it’s important to raise awareness.

“Raising awareness of the trail is very important for tow reason,” according to Ralston,” The first, in order to get it finished. We still have about 26 miles that need to be completed. And the second is to get people to know that the trail is there and that it’s a resource that’s free and open to everyone, and just invite them to come out and make use of it.”
