Ten Years of Community Events with Live Wire Athens

Ten years ago, Daniel Robertson Jr. moved to Athens with the familial prospect of owning a farm in the north. Although he didn’t have the intention of directing music venues, the opportunity to create Live Wire Athens was one he could not pass up.
Originally from Savannah, Robertson had formerly directed Live Wire Music Hall in his hometown alongside his father and two brothers before its closing in 2013. Only a few months after moving to Athens, he was recruited by Adrian Zelski at New Earth Music Hall.
