The Athens-Clarke County Transit is currently developing their 2023–2028 Transit Development Plan (TDP). A TDP is a short-term strategic plan which identifies how a transit agency will meet state and local priorities for public transportation through operating changes, capital improvements, and strategic investments. Athens Transit has experienced significant changes over the past five years and updating the TDP will help reevaluate its vision, mission statement, and system goals. Providing efficient, safe, and sustainable transportation will continue to guide Athens Transit during this TDP updating process.
