• Adoption Center

  • Closed on Tue., Dec. 24 and Wed., Dec. 25. Regular hours of operation will resume on Thurs., Dec. 26.

• Field Services

  • Field Services will not be available on Tue., Dec. 24 and Wed., Dec. 25. Regular hours of operation will resume on Thurs., Dec. 26.

  • Emergency services such as an animal bite, a seriously sick or injured animal, or an animal trapped inside the living space of a home will be provided throughout the holidays by calling 911.

• Holidays at Home fostering 

  • Animal pick-up on or before Mon., Dec. 23.

  • Animal return on or after Thurs., Dec. 26.

Solid Waste

• Residential and commercial Solid Waste customers' (outside the Downtown district) garbage and recycling services will be suspended on Tue., Dec. 24 and Wed., Dec. 25. 

• Customers should have carts ready for collection by 7:00 AM on days as follows: 

  • Regular Monday collection will be collected as regularly scheduled on Monday.

  • Regular Tuesday and Wednesday collections will be collected on Thursday.

  • Regular Thursday collection will be collected on Friday.

• Residential and commercial (inside the Downtown district) garbage and recycling services will be suspended on Wed., Dec. 25. Regular collection resumes on Thurs., Dec. 26.

• Leaf & Limb collection will be suspended the week of December 23.

• The Landfill will be closed on Tue., Dec. 24 and Wed., Dec. 25. Regular hours of operation will resume on Thurs., Dec. 26.

• The Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) will be closed on Tue., Dec. 24 and Wed., Dec. 25. Regular hours of operation will resume on Fri., Dec. 27. CHaRM is closed on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

• The Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) will be closed on Wed., Dec. 25. Regular hours of operation will resume on Thurs., Dec. 26.

• Solid Waste administrative offices will be closed on Tue., Dec. 24 and Wed., Dec. 25. Regular hours of operation will resume on Thurs., Dec. 26.
