CCSD Student Art Exhibition Opens at Lyndon House

The Lyndon House Arts Center is hosting the Clarke County School District Student Art Exhibition. This year’s theme “INSPIRED: Artworks by Students of the Clarke County School District Inspired by Athens Creatives.”

On Oct 8, the Lyndon House will host their biennial art exhibition until Jan.18, 2025. During that time, students from Clarke County School District will exhibit their artwork in the gallery. This exhibit will include work by students in CCSD from all grade levels. An opening reception will be held on Oct 15, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m..

All featured work will include collages, drawings, paintings, photography, sculptures, and weaving. The opening reception will include performances by young musicians from Clarke Central High School Honor Chamber Strings and Cedar Shoals High School Chamber Strings.

All exhibitions are free of charge and open to the public. Exhibitions are on view during regular gallery hours Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.. The Lyndon House Arts Center is closed during UGA home football games on Saturdays.
