Secretary Raffensperger Partners with St James Alpharetta to Host Senior Financial Wellness Event

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is thrilled to announce the upcoming She Leads live event, taking place at St. James Alpharetta on October 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We are proud to partner with St. James Alpharetta for this important financial wellness event.

Join us for “Senior Savvy: Empower Your Financial Wellness Journey.” Our panelists will discuss essential strategies for retirement planning and fraud prevention. Strengthen your financial security and build confidence in managing your future with expert insights, resources, and practical tips. This event is free and open to all Georgians. A complimentary continental breakfast will be provided with registration.

Both panels will be moderated by Donna Lowry. The first panel, focusing on “Financial Wellness,” will feature Shardea Ages, CFP®, Co-Founder and Senior Wealth Advisor at Collective Wealth Partners; Robert MacDonald, Retired Private Wealth Advisor at CKM Wealth; and Fredrick Standfield, CFP®, CPA, Founder of FINANCIAL SOLUTIONEER® at Lifewater Wealth Management. The second panel, dedicated to “Fraud Awareness,” will include Angela Adams, Assistant United States Attorney, Elder Justice Coordinator, NDGA; Mark Fellows, MA, CFE, CACTS, CHTI, Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services, Forensic Special Initiatives Unit (FSIU),Crimes Against Disabled Adults and Elderly (CADE) Task Force; and Noula Zaharis, Assistant Commissioner of Securities and Division Director of the Securities & Charities Division at the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

She Leads is a financial empowerment seminar series hosted by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger as part of his multi-faceted financial literacy effort administered through the Securities and Charities divisions of the Office of Secretary of State. These free events and webinars feature industry leaders who discuss resources that can help increase attendees’ knowledge about money, their relationship to money, and financial issues and strategies for growing their wealth.
