Reed Creek Nature Park and Interpretive Center is offering an incredible opportunity to network with biology professionals during their Biology Career Day on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The event begins at 6:00 PM.

Inspiring the next generation of professionals from within our community by highlighting a variety of biology related career fields and organizations. From a typical workday, education requirements and more, the students will get a chance to hear about it. Many careers related to biology, nature, or environmental fields are underrepresented or can feel like unrealistic goals; professionals will help make it a reality by sharing their personal career journey. Biology Career Day will offer a space for young science and nature enthusiasts of the Central Savannah River Area to learn about the different career options they may not have considered or known about before.

This event will be organized “expo style” and will be targeted to middle and high school audiences, although both elementary and undergraduate students may be present. Students will visit tables and talk to speakers at their leisure.

Biology Career Day will be held outdoors in the field of Reed Creek Nature Park at 3820 Park Lane in Martinez, GA 30907 with a rain location of The Market.
