Friday, September 13th, 2024

On Monday, Sept. 23rd, the Athens-Clarke County Elections Department will begin testing all voting equipment, starting at the Athens-Clarke County Facilities and Landscape Management Building on Lexington Road. Testing will continue to run every day after Monday until completion.

Before every election, the State of Georgia requires logic and accuracy testing with specific procedures. These procedures include running tests of paper-based voting units, the check-in system, and the optical scan system for recording absentee ballots.

All public members are welcome to observe logic and accuracy testing taking place.
