The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) announces the availability of more than $1 Million in High Demand Apprenticeship Program (HDAP) funds to support the development and expansion of registered apprenticeships in Georgia’s high-demand industries.

“The High Demand Apprenticeship Program has been a key driving force in helping business and industry invest in their workforce through apprenticeships,” said TCSG Commissioner Greg Dozier. “This year, TCSG has the opportunity to support the greatest number of apprentices and businesses in the program’s history, bringing the benefits of apprenticeships to communities across the state.”

Administered by TCSG, HDAP provides up to $50,000 in funding awards to selected employers to incentivize the upskilling of Georgians through registered apprenticeships. To date, this program has created more than 250 apprentices among 67 Georgia-based companies with an economic impact of $13.4 million.

The application for eligible employers to apply for the first-round of HDAP is open now through September 13, 2024. To learn more about the HDAP and how to apply for the award opportunity, visit https://www.tcsg.edu/hdap/  or contact Apprenticeship Grant Manager, Rosalyn Dennis at [email protected]
