Synovus has appointed Chas Chastain to its Northeast Georgia advisory board. Chastain is president and managing partner of Chastain & Associates Insurance in Athens, Georgia. 

“Chas is deeply committed to the community, and his financial expertise and business acumen will provide meaningful insight to the Synovus advisory board as we strive to help our clients reach their full potential,” said Northeast Georgia Division CEO Jody Patton. 

Before joining Chastain & Associates, Chastain held roles with Synovus as a credit analyst in Columbus, Georgia, and a commercial banker in Athens. Chastain earned his degree in business administration from Washington and Lee University.
