Sean Olinger, M.D., has joined Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center and Piedmont Physicians Group’s general surgery practice at 1010 Prince Avenue, Suite 400. 

Dr. Olinger performs a broad array of general surgery procedures, including thyroid, foregut, colon, as well as other skin and soft tissue surgeries. His special interests include endoscopy procedures, robotic surgeries, abdominal wall reconstruction, and treating gallbladder disease.

Dr. Olinger completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia before earning his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He did his general surgery residency at Baylor-Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas.
