Dr. Devin Hicks to Join Hometown Pediatrics

Northeast Georgia is gaining a new board-certified pediatrician. Dr. Devin Nicole Hicks will join St. Mary’s Hometown Pediatrics in Watkinsville on July 29 and will begin seeing patients on Aug. 7

Dr. Hicks comes to Hometown Pediatrics and St. Mary’s Medical Group from The Ark Children’s Clinic/Mitchell Family Medicine in Marion, AR, where she has provided care since 2022.

Joining St. Mary’s brings her back home to the Peach State. She grew up in Gwinnett County and she has family in the Pendergrass area. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, she earned her doctor of medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta before completing her pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis.

Her professional interests include oral health and fluoride treatments, asthma, social determinants of health, global medicine and quality improvement.

Dr. Hicks will join pediatrician Dr. Rachel Hunt and nurse practitioners Kate Geier and Emilie Grove. Hometown Pediatrics is a full-service practice offering comprehensive care for children ages birth to 21. The providers and staff are passionate about partnering with families to help each child grow into a happy, healthy adult. The practice provides a full continuum of care including well-child checkups, same-day acute care visits, and management of chronic conditions such as asthma.
