The labor force increased in Athens by 468 and ended the month with 104,799. That number went up by 4,475 when compared to March of 2023.

Athens finished the month with 101,542 employed residents. That number increased by 277 over-the-month and rose by 4,344 when compared to the same time a year ago.

Athens ended March with 104,600 jobs. That number increased by 400 from February to March and rose by 4,100 when compared to this time last year.

In March, initial unemployment claims decreased by 69 (-27%) in Athens. When you compare March 2024 claims to March 2023, claims were down by 21 (-10%).
