ARPA Homelessness RFP Open Now Through March 8th

Based on recommended key strategies from the Strategic Plan to Reduce and Prevent Homelessness (SPRPH), the Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission have approved $2.83 million in ARPA funding for activities that will help prevent and reduce homelessness in our county. Now through March 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM (midnight), ACCGov is accepting proposals from organizations for the following initiatives:  

  1. Homeless Supportive Services, to include: diversion and rapid exit, landlord focused initiatives, and partnerships for employment. 

  2. Unsheltered Homeless Activities, to include: street outreach,  physical healthcare, and housing surge activities for encampments.

  3. Increasing Low-Barrier Shelter for Homeless, to include: new construction, acquisition/conversion to new shelter, or minor/major rehabilitation of existing units

 TO ACCESS THE COMPLETE RFP AND APPLY FOR FUNDING BY MARCH 8, 2024:

  • You will be prompted to log into your Zoom Grants account (or create one) in order to access the application. 

 Technical Assistance:

ACCGov’s Housing & Community Development will offer technical assistance to interested parties through March 1, 2024. We will also host a virtual meeting to explain how eligible nonprofit organizations may apply for funds to carry our programs and activities described in this RFP:
