Lyndon House Arts Center Announces the 49th Juried Exhibition Opening Opening of 49th Juried Exhibition

The Lyndon House Arts Center is pleased to announce the opening of the 49th Juried Exhibition on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. with an opening reception.  The exhibtion will  be on view until May 4, 2024. This year’s juror is Jen Sudul Edwards, Chief Curator and Curator of Contemporary Art at The Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina.  

Jen Sudul Edwards reviewed 722 works of art by 265 Athens area artists.  Of these, Ms. Edwards chose 160 works by 111 local artists. In addition, multiple awards selected by the Juror will be announced on opening day.

Throughout the run of the exhibition, the Lyndon House Arts Center will be hosting artist talks in the galleries Thursday evenings during the month of April.  Those dates are April 4, 11, 18, and 25th. Gallery talks begin at 6:00 pm.

All exhibitions are free of charge and open to the public.  Exhibitions are on view during regular gallery hours Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Children must be accompanied by an adult
