The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department announces its slate of summer camp programs for 2024. The Department offers the most diverse selection of award winning summer camps in Northeast Georgia including day camps highlighting art, nature education, performing arts, and sports.  Opportunities are available for children from ages 3-15.

Camp listings are available at www.accgov.com/myrec. Online registration begins Saturday, March 16 at 9 AM for Athens-Clarke County residents.  Non-residents may register beginning Monday, March 18 at noon.  Registration for many camps fill quickly. Online registration will take place at www.accgov.com/myrec  

Parents who have not already established a free online account must do so at www.accgov.com/myrec   Creating your account early will help confirm your in-county status is valid for Saturday registration.

Scholarships are available for qualifying ACC residents.  Parents who wish to apply for a scholarship must do so in person at a Leisure Services Department facility office.  In order to use the scholarship for summer camp registration, applicants must apply for a scholarship by March 1 to allow adequate time for staff to apply it to the online registration account.   More information, including required documentation, is available at www.accgov.com/scholarship
