Athens Academy is pleased to host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, January 18, from 1- 6 p.m. in the Farmer Field House on the Athens Academy Campus.

To make an appointment, visit Red Cross Blood under the Athens-Clarke County zip code and select a donation time at the Athens Academy location. Donors may also use the Red Cross Blood app or call 1- 800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

Pre-registration is available through RapidPass on the day of donation. You may choose to present a printed copy or downloaded version on your mobile device upon arrival.

American Red Cross national blood supply has fallen to critically low levels, dropping nearly 25% since early August. There is an emergency need for platelet and type O blood donors. Donors of all blood types are encouraged to contribute, ensuring that patients at hospitals across the country continue to receive critical medical care.
