ACC Commissioners Vote to Keep Existing Parklet Fees

Athens-Clarke County commissioners voted to keep existing fees for downtown parklets until the end of the fiscal year while making some changes to the program.
While the new ordinance does detail what types of barriers and decks will be allowed for parklets, another proposed change - parklet fees - will remain at $500 for two spaces until Jun. 30, 2024 to allow downtown business owners to prepare for future fee increases
