Oconee State Bank welcomes four new team members from the recent merger with Elberton Federal Savings and Loan.

Daniel Graves, Donna Shiflet, Dana Diego, and Lourvon Lewis are the newest team members that will create remarkable experiences for customers in the Elberton and North Georgia communities.

Daniel Graves, SVP Community President, has served Elberton Federal since 2011. Daniel is from Elberton and graduated from

University of West Georgia and Georgia Law. Daniel shares three daughters with his wife Kyra. Daniel also serves as the mayor of the City of Elberton. “I am most excited about the people we are getting to work with through this transition. It is a blessing to be part of the OSB family.”

Donna Shiflet, VP Financial Center Manager, began her time with Elberton Federal in 1994. She is originally from Anderson, South Carolina, moving to Elberton with her husband. Donna has three daughters and seven grandchildren in various areas throughout Georgia. “I am excited that we can now offer the people of Elberton a new choice in banking and products that the Association did not or could not offer them. I am excited that we are moving forward and look forward to working with the OSB team to create great experiences for OSB customers.”

Dana Diego, Senior Personal Banker, was raised in Elberton and began her role at Elberton Federal in 2015. Dana’s favorite part of Elberton are the people within the community and the tight knit relationships there. “The kind of welcome we have received as new employees with Oconee State Bank has been unforgettable. Everyone has been so kind and positive.”

Lourvon Lewis, Essential Banker, joined Elberton Federal early this year. She too was born and raised in Elberton and has a close-knit family residing in the area. She truly enjoys how the Elberton community is able to rally around each other at any time. “I am excited to be a part of the OSB team; a team that is close and works very well with each other.”

The Oconee State Bank Elberton Financial Center is located at 6 E. Church St. in downtown Elberton. The Financial Center will open as a full service location beginning September 18, 2023.
