Board of Education Approves Millage Rate, FY24 Budget

During a called meeting on Thursday, June 29, the Clarke County Board of Education approved keeping the Clarke County School District's millage rate at 18.8 mills and subsequently approved a budget for fiscal year 2024 in the amount of $214,145,443. The vote followed five public hearings on the millage rate and two on the proposed budget.
