Susan Chatham Bogardus, market president and senior vice president, and Lorie Petersen, vice president and business development officer for BankSouth’s Watkinsvillebranch, recently presented a check in the amount of $10,000 to the Piedmont Athens Regional Foundation to support the Clay Community Care Clinic.

"The Clay Community Care Clinic is a vital resource in our community, providing primary care to all adult patients regardless of their insurance status. BankSouth’s donation will support the clinic’s work and broaden its impact in Athens."

In addition to providing patients with high-quality primary care, the Clay Community Care Clinic also has specialty clinics. This allows Piedmont Athens Regional to provide comprehensive medical care for every patient, regardless of age, race, gender, ability to pay, or insurance status.
