Athens Creative Theatre Presents "Tuck Everlasting: In Concert" at the Morton Theatre

Athens Creative Theatre (ACT) presents “Tuck Everlasting: In Concert” with music by Chris Miller, lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and book by Claudia Shear and Time Federle at the Morton  Friday and Saturday, April 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Morton Theatre in downtown Athens.

The production is based on the best-selling children’s classic by Natlie Babbitt.  The concert production follows the story of eleven-year-old Winnie Foster who yearns for a life of adventure beyond her white picket fence, but not until she becomes unexpectedly entwined with the Tuck Family does she get more than she could have imagined.  She is then faced with the question “What would you do if you could live forever?”

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale online at, by phone at 706-613-3771, or in person at the Morton Theatre Box Office located at 195 W. Washington Street.  The box office is open Mondays through Fridays from noon - 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 each. Discounted rates are available for groups. 

ACT is a unit of Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department and “Tuck Everlasting: In Concert” is part of the AMTO (Athens Musical Theatre Orchestra) program creating pathways for instrumentalists and vocalists to explore musical theatre works..
