Athens Academy Robotics Team Finishes Regular Season in First Place

Athens Academy’s varsity robotics team #2858 placed first for the regular season in the Caterpillar League. The league is comprised of three teams each from Athens Academy, North Oconee High School, and Oconee County High School; two teams from Clarke Central High School; and one each from Augusta Prep and Madison County 4H.

During the regular season, the teams competed in four meets with 20 matches total. The top ten match scores determine which team placed first. All three Athens Academy teams qualified to advance to the Regional Tournament along with nineteen other teams from across the area on February 3-4, 2023, at the Empower College and Career Center in Jefferson, Georgia.
