Ten Athens Academy faculty members traveled to conferences the week of November 7, 2022, to learn new things for their students.
Upper School science teachers Mary Chuboff, Lori Neves, and Anna Scott traveled to Indianapolis for the National Association of Biology Teachers' annual conference. "We learned about great new resources for anatomy and physiology, biology, and evolutionary genetics," said Dr. Scott.
Seven faculty members attended YALLFEST in Charleston, South Carolina. Media center staff members Keira Digel Drake, Sarah Powers, and Katie Terry joined Middle and Upper School teachers Amy Heath, Natalie Luke, Marlana Street, and Kate Towery at the annual young adult literature festival.
According to Communications Director Kelley Cuneo, “We are grateful to these fantastic educators and to all of our faculty who work hard to find new, exciting, and innovative ways to connect with their students every day.”
