Georgia Electric Companies Step in to Help Restore Communities After Hurricane Ida

Over 500 utility workers from Southwest Georgia came to the aid of Louisiana residents picking up the pieces following destruction of Hurricane Ida.
Following the request for mutual assistance from the state, some Georgia utility companies such as Georgia Power and Thomasville Electric stepped in to help the hardest hit communities.
