The Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department will suspend compost, garbage, recycling, and leaf & limb collections on Monday, September 6, 2021 in recognition of the Labor Day Holiday.

If you have residential service & commercial service with us outside of downtown district your collection days will be as follows: Monday September 6th & Tuesday September 7th will be serviced on Tuesday September 7th. Wednesday September 8th will be serviced on Wednesday. Thursday September 9th will be serviced on Thursday. And Friday September 10th will be serviced on Friday.   Please make sure your trash and recycling roll-carts are out on the curb by 7:00 AM on your service pick up day. 

 If you have commercial or residential service with us and are located within the Downtown District your service will be picked on the regular schedule.
