Athens General and Colorectal Surgeons (AGCS) will be moving its main office to a larger facility effective March 1 to accommodate the growing practice.

The new office will be located in Resource Medical Park at 1500 Oglethorpe Ave., Suite 2000, Athens, Ga. The practice phone number remains the same: 706.548.5488. The office park is easily accessible from the Oglethorpe Avenue/Tallassee Road exit on Loop 10 and via Athens Transit.

“AGCS continues to expand to meet the growing patient needs in our communities with eight surgeons now practicing in our services area,” said Brittainy Horne, St. Mary’s Vice President, Strategy and Ambulatory Services. “AGCS will be moving from its current location at 740 Prince Avenue in order to accommodate the growing number of providers and patients we now serve.  We are excited about the opportunity that the larger space will provide us to enhance our service offerings within the St. Mary’s ambulatory environment.”

AGCS is the practice of Drs. Aaron Carr, Davis Horkan, Kathleen Jeffery, Ryan Katz, Andrew Lawrence, Sergio Mejias, Brant Parramore, and Steve Shirley. The practice also includes Kristin Yamamoto, physician’s assistant, and Marci Golden, nurse practitioner.

Satellite offices in Greensboro and Lavonia remain in their current locations.
