Susan Chatham Bogardus, Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender with First American Bank and Trust, was recently honored by Athens Area Home Builders Association with a Lifetime Membership Award in recognition of outstanding dedication and commitment to the Association.  Susan has been a member of AAHBA since 1996 and served on the Associate Council for over 20 years.  Susan has reached the Life Spike Level within the Home Builders Association for sponsoring memberships in the Association.  Susan was honored as Associate of the Year six times and was twice the winner of the Professional of the Year award from the AAHBA.

This is only the fourth AAHBA Lifetime Membership Award in the 64-year history of the association.

In addition to her work with the AAHBA, Susan is active in several civic and community organizations including serving as an active member of the Housing and Demographics Research Center Advisory Board, Athens Tech Foundation Board of Directors and Athens-Clarke County representative to the Georgia Innovation Corridor Joint Development Authority.  Susan has been with First American Bank for 14 years and is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
