Georgia Supreme Court Upholds Law Voiding Votes for Athens-Clarke Commissioner Who Died

The Georgia Supreme Court has cleared the way for Jesse Houle to become commissioner from Athens-Clarke County’s District 6.
In a two-man race, Houle lost to incumbent Jerry NeSmith in nonpartisan elections in June.
