This week, BankSouth Mortgage released an update to its wildly successful and useful mobile mortgage app, ReadyLoan. New in this version of the ReadyLoan app is the ability to sign and submit official documents, such as loan disclosures. Previous releases did not allow users to sign and submit these documents electronically. We have been testing the use of the app over the past several months with various Mortgage Bankers and we have received very positive feedback from the customers and Mortgage Bankers that have been part of the initial loan transactions.

The ReadyLoan app, available for Apple and Android users, enables users to calculate payments, apply for a mortgage loan, send documents, sign paperwork (new!), track the status of the loan, and contact his/her mortgage banker and real estate agent right from the app.

This app is also designed for real estate agents. Our customers’ realtors can track the progress of their customers’ loans from start to finish to stay updated on expected closing dates, important milestones, and more. If one of their customers is not already working with a mortgage banker, a real estate agent can simply share the app with their customer to easily start the process of working with BankSouth Mortgage from the ReadyLoan app.
